Checkerboard Side Table

I have been wanting to make a side table with a checkerboard on the top for awhile now, so when I bought this table, I knew it would be perfect!

Soooooo I sanded and primed the whole thing before I painted in black.

I then started on the actual checkerboard, which is gray and cream... Wow. Super tedious. 

I am incredibly happy with the end result!

I sealed the whole thing off with 2 coats of polyurethane.
